The promotion, debuting at Booth 1853, is a light-hearted nod to long-held industry quirks. By putting hospitality humor front and center—on t-shirts, hats, buttons, and more—it encourages attendees to laugh at the headache of manual pricing, poke fun at industry quirks, and maybe walk away with a gift card for doing it.

 

How It Works

 

Attendees can stop by TakeUp’s booth to pick up free branded wearable items—t-shirts, buttons, hats, and bags—featuring humorous hospitality slogans such as:

  • “My gut is not a pricing strategy”

 

Once attendees are wearing the items, they’re automatically entered into the surprise promotion. Throughout the event, TakeUp team members will be roaming the tradeshow floor and awarding gift cards on the spot to select participants wearing the gear.
